A word from the chef
As an Italian chef, it is of the utmost importance to me that everything we use to prepare your meal is made from fresh, quality ingredients whether it be some of the finest imports, or locally sourced from Arizona farms as many dishes on our menu are. Furthermore, all of our dishes, sauces, dressings, and most breads are made from scratch by myself and my team of classically trained culinary artists using a wide range of regional techniques.
As the executive chef, I personally specialize in Italian cuisine. I was born in Tempe Arizona and raised in a 100% Italian family. Being Italian and having grown up in my family's chain of Italian cuisines and pizzerias, I have a passion for good food. However, in my three years of culinary studies I developed an appreciation for a variety of regional techniques. My family's homeland of Italy is impassioned not only by its ingredients, but a love for it's old world approach to building simple dishes with beautiful layers of complex flavor. I also fell in love with France's incredible level of technique and attention to detail, and Mexico's colorfully vibrant, spicy culmination of fused european technique with local agriculture.
As a member of this culinary team we have, my specialty may be Italian, but i am well versed in other regional foods and our supporting culinary artists are classically trained in a variety of technique from around the world plus American fusion and BBQ as well. Founded 2006 in Gilbert, we are a full service special event catering company headed by executive chef Christopher Robert who is a native resident of the valley, born and raised in Tempe, Arizona.
25 plus years in the restaurant industry starting out in the kitchen of his family's Italian restaurant chain. After moving forward to work in corporate restaurant management, Chef eventually decided to head back to school and work on a B.A in psychology and family studies at ASU. During this time, he worked as a bartender, server, banquet event server and banquet bartender which inspired the inception of Portable Pubs Bartending Service. His love for food and the restaurant industry inspired his decision to study culinary for three years while hiring classically trained and talented chefs to work aside him in the beginning stages of Arizona Event Catering. Six years later, Chef has catered over 350 full service weddings and special events.
From the corporate offices of P.F. Changs, which we catered 8 meals a week, to winning the heart of the CEO of Dillard's Corp. We have a list of clients that we have catered to including 3 of our favorite organizations that we sponsor such as The Breast Cancer Society and Relay For Life.

Food safety, Allergies & Insurance
It's important to us to actively be a part of your sense of security while using our company to feed your special guests. Proper food handling, safe temperature holding, and cleanliness are a very important part our business while in our commercial kitchen, through transportation and while at your event facility. Below is a copy of our most recent health department inspection. For special needs with concern to food allergy, please consult with the chef while planning your menu. For insurance information such as general liability and host liquor liability insurance documents, call us and we will provide those documents to you and your venue. Need an additionally insured certificate for your facility? we can have that done within 24 hours of request.
